Salisbury Steak

Why I Love This Recipe
This recipe is in the latest issue of SIMPLE & DELICIOUS. I added chopped onions to mine, and it was very good.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 EGG
½ CUP SOFT BREAD CRUMBS
1 TEASP ITALIAN SEASONING
½ TEASP PEPPER
½ TEASP MINCED GARLIC
1 POUND GROUND BEEF
1 TBL OLIVE OIL
1 CUP SLICED MUSHROOMS
2 TBL FLOUR
1 CUP CHICKEN BROTH
1 TBL KETCHUP
1 TEASP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
Directions
In large bowl combine egg, crumbs, seasonings & beef. Form 4 patties.
In a large skillet, brown patties in olive oil over medium heat 5-7 minutes on each side, or till cooked thru. Remove and keep warm. Drain all but 2 tbl of fat from pan and add mushrooms. Saute till tender. Sprinkle in flour to make a roux. Gradually stir in broth, ketchup & Worcestershire. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 2 minutes. Return patties to skillet, reduce heat and simmer 4-5 minutes to heat through.
