Why I Love This Recipe

Saw this on t.v. today and they said it really added a new depth of flavor to the salmon.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 salmon fillet, about 3/4 to 1 pound
1 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup apple cider
1/4 cup dark brown sugar

Directions

Place the salmon fillet (skin off) into a large, shallow baking dish. Mix together the syrup, cider and brown sugar, then pour over the fillet. Let stand in the refrigerator for about 1 hour, flipping the fillet once or twice.

Preheat the grill, and when hot, place the fillet over medium-high hot coals. Grill on one side for about 5 minutes, then turn, baste with the syrup/cider marinade and grill for another 5 minutes or so. Salmon is done with is flakes easily. Serve immediately.

Although, when then featured the new George Foreman Grill with the temperature gauge and alarm/alert-Bob claimed the recipe was 1/2 cup maple syrup, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup apple cider or apple juice.
