Salmon over Black Rice

Simple with an exotic touch and a great source of Omega-3's.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 cup uncooked black rice
1 pound salmon
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Preheat the oven to 350° F. Cook the black rice according to the package directions.
Place the salmon in an oiled baking pan.
Combine the garlic powder, turmeric, and pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle the seasoning combination on top of the salmon along with the lemon juice.
Bake the salmon for 15 minutes, then serve over black rice.
