Why I Love This Recipe

Ingredients You'll Need

1/2 c old fashioned oats
1/2 c boiling water
2 T butter
1 pkg (16 oz) hot roll mix
3/4 c warm water
2 eggs beaten
1 T. dried minced onion
1 egg
1 tsp garlic salt
1 T. dried minced onion
1 T. sesame seeds
1/2 c mayo
3 tsp prepared mustard
1/2 tsp prepared horseradish
lettuce leaves
8 oz thinly sliced cooked ham
8 oz thin sliced cooked turkey
1 med green pepper, thin sliced
1 med onion, thin sliced
6 oz thinly sliced swiss cheese
2 large tomatoes, thin sliced


In lg bowl, combine oats, boiling water, and butter; let stand for 5 min. Meanwhile, dissolve yeast from hot roll mix in warm water.

Add to oats with eggs and onion.

Add flour mix from hot roll mix.stir well, do not knead.

Spread dough onto 10" circle on a well greased pizza pan.

Cover with plastic wrap coated with nonstick spray.

Let rise til doubled..about 45 min.

Beat egg and garlic salt, brush over dough.

Sprinkle with onion and sesame seeds.

Bake at 350 for 25-30 min. or til golden brown.

Remove from pan; cool on a wire rack. split lengthwise.

Combine mayo, mustard and horseradish; spread over cut sides of loaf.

Layer with remaining filling ingred. cut into wedges.

Yields 12 servings.
