Sausage Side By Side Calzones

If you do not like any of the "topping" ingredients please feel free to add or omit whatever you do like.
Ingredients You'll Need
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 lb italian sausage
1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
1/2 cup pitted ripe olives, sliced
1 can (8oz) pizza sauce
2 cloves garlic
2 packages refrigerated pizza crust
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cook sausage and onion over medium high heat 8-10 minutes or until sausage is lightly browned and no longer pink. Make sure to break sausage into crumbles while cooking, drain and set aside.
In medium bowl combine sausage, bell pepper, olives, pizza sauce and minced garlic; mix well.
Lightly flour square baking sheet. Unroll one package of pizza crust across sheet. Gently strech dough into large rectangle. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over dough to form 2 length-wise rows, leaving a 2" seperation between rows down the center and a 1" border around outside edges. Scoop filling mixture evenly over both rows of cheese. Unroll second package of pizza crust and carefully place over first crust. Match edges of dough around edges; press/pinch to edges and down center to seal.
Using pizza cutter, cut down center of dough to for two strips. Grate parmesan cheese over top of dough.
Using serrated knife, cut 5 2" slits in top of each calzone to vent. Bake 22 - 25 minutes or until deep golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
