"This is a hard boiled egg wrapped in sausage then deep fried. Absolutely amazing."

Why I Love This Recipe

These eggs are absolutely delicious.

Ingredients You'll Need

8 oz. Breakfast sausage, bulk
1/2 tsp. Fresh sage, chopped
1/2 tsp. Fresh thyme, chopped
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 Eggs, hard boiled and peeled
1 Egg, beaten
Breadcrumbs as needed
All-purpose flour as needed
Salt and pepper to taste


Combine the breakfast sausage, herbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper in a small bowl.

With lightly floured hands, divide the sausage mixture into four equal portions. Flatten each portion into a thin patty. Dust the eggs with flour and wrap each egg in a portion of the sausage meat. Be sure the meat is of even thickness and there are no cracks.

Bread the sausage-covered eggs.

Deep-fry the eggs approximately 8 minutes at 350 or until sausage meat is fully cooked.

Serve the eggs halved.

Pairs Well With

This dish would be completely fine on it’s own.
