Seeing Double Brownies

Why I Love This Recipe
This way you get the best of both worlds, be it chocolate or butterscotch/blonde brownies in one!
I received this recipe after asking for it from a friend whose house I tasted them at. YUM.
Ingredients You'll Need
Chocolate Layer:
2 Large eggs
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c chopped walnuts
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 c cocoa
1/2 c butter
Butterscotch Layer:
1/2 c butter, softened
1 1/2 c brown sugar, packed
2 Large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c chopped walnuts
Directions
Chocolate Layer: Beat eggs until foamy. Add sugar, flour, walnuts and salt.
Melt cocoa and butter together in saucepan over low heat. Add to egg mixture and blend well.
Spread in greased 9 x 13 pan. Set aside.
Butterscotch Layer: Cream butter with brown sugar in another bowl. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until well mixed.
Add remaining ingredients. Stir.
Spoon over chocolate layer in small blobs. Spread as best you can.
Bake in 350 degree F oven for about 35 min. until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. A wooden pick inserted in center should come out moist with no batter clinging to it.
Spread icing over cooled squares. Cut into 54 brownies.
