6 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

4 cups granulated sugar
8 large eggs

2 cups whole milk
1 cup rosé wine

For the Rosé Buttercream Frosting:
2 cups unsalted butter, softened
16 cups powdered sugar
1 cup rosé wine
4 tsp vanilla extract
Pink food coloring (optional)
Edible silver sprinkles for garnish


Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk and rosé wine, and mix until just combined. Add pink food coloring if desired.

Fill the cupcake liners 2/3 full with the batter and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.

For the Rosé Buttercream Frosting: In a large bowl, beat the butter until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, rosé wine, vanilla extract, and pink food coloring, and beat until smooth and fluffy.

Pipe or spread the frosting onto the cooled cupcakes, then sprinkle with edible silver sprinkles for a glamorous touch.
