Why I Love This Recipe
This is something my family insists on as part of the Christmas baking. They never get made during the rest of the year.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 cup butter
1/3 cup sugar (white or brown)
2 cups flour
Directions
Cream butter, add sugar gradually and cream together thoroughly.
Add flour slowly; when a stiff dough is formed turn out on a floured board; gradually knead in rest of flour until the dough begins to crack.
Roll out 1/4 inch thick, cut into shapes.
Place on a baking sheet; bake in 325º oven until lightly browned.
