Why I Love This Recipe

I love shrimp and this is a very simple recipe. You always have these ingredients on had in a well stocked kitchen. My recipes are easy. I just eyball it like racheal ray. sometimes its hard to write them down using measurements, but here goes as follows:

Ingredients You'll Need

1 pound Shrimp, cleaned and devined
5 garlic cloves (minced)
1/3 cup white wine
1 whole lemon juiced
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 pound linguine
salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp of dried parsley
1/8 tsp dried thyme
1/8 tsp dried rosemary
or to your taste

Cook pasta in salted water.

In a large skillet, Add the oil and saute the garlic and the crushed red pepper 3-4 minutes.

Add the wine and cook down, 2 minutes.

Add the lemon juice, and all the seasonings and cook for 3 minutes more.

When pasta is almost done add the shrimp to the pan and cook until shrimp are cooked about 5 minutes or until orange in color.

Drain pasta, and place in skillet with the shrimps. reserve about 4 tbsp of the water from the pasta (just in case pasta absorbs all of the mixture).

Cook for 1 minute more tossing the pasta to coat evenly.

Lunch tomorrow! Needed to use some cream and shrimp. I plan to try fresh herbs from my container garden. Thanks for the easy recipe.
