Slow Cooked Italian Style Chicken Roll-Ups

Ingredients You'll Need

-4 Boneless, Skinless, Chicken Breasts
-1 8oz Block Cream Cheese
-1 Chopped Green Bell Pepper (diced if you aren't going to pick it out like I do)
- 1c Marinara Pasta Sauce (I use Prego)
- 4 Slices of American Cheese (reserved for the very end)


Directions

In large slow cooker, put chicken breasts on bottom (frozen is fine - no need to thaw). Put the block of cream cheese on top. If you diced the bell pepper, sprinkle it around. If you just chopped it, try to disperse evenly around the chicken for full flavor effect. Pour pasta sauce on top.


If using frozen chicken breasts, cook on high 6 hours. If using refrigerated, 4 hours on high is fine. Make sure chicken is fully cooked. If you insert a fork, it should shred easily.


Top with American Cheese and recover for 30 minutes.


Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or bread that can be dipped into it. The sauce will be very creamy (and delicious!)
