Why I Love This Recipe
I was browsing through some cookbooks at a local craft fair and spotted this recipe. Had to buy the book just for it and have been glad I did. It's just a fun thing to make and very adaptable by changing the candy bar to whatever you enjoy, i.e. Heath, Milky Way, etc.
Ingredients You'll Need
8 oz cream cheese, softened
12 oz Cool Whip, thawed
1 c powdered sugar
6 Snickers candy bars
4 to 6 Granny Smith apples
Directions
Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until well blended.
Cut Snickers into desired size pieces.
It can help to place them in the freezer for about 5 minutes before trying to cut them, makes
life easier.
Add them to cream cheese mixture.
Cut apples into bite size chunks and mix them in.
Gently fold in Cool Whip until mixed well.
Chill at least 1 hour before serving.
Best the same day you make it.
