Why I Love This Recipe

i was in the mood for some holiday cookies so i made some. i put the cookies in a ball and after cooking them they staid in a ball. i ate one plain and it was missing something. after thinking about it i thought of rolling them in powder sugar. after eating one i loved it and thought it was perfect.

Ingredients You'll Need

• 3/4 cup butter, softened
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup chopped nuts
• 1 cup (6 ounces) chocolate chips
• Confectioners' sugar


1. In a bowl, cream butter and sugar.

2 Add egg and vanilla;

3 mix well.

4. Combine flour and salt;

5. stir into creamed mixture.

6 Fold in nuts and chips.

7. Roll . into 1-in. balls.

8. Place on ungreased baking sheets.

9. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes.

10.Cool cookies slightly before rolling in confectioners' sugar.
