Sour cream cornbread
Ingredients You'll Need
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
3 eggs
16 oz sour cream
1 1/2 cup self-rising corn meal
salt to taste
Optional: Cracklings
small can of cream style corn
Directions
Melt butter then stir in sour cream and add eggs. Mix wet ingredients. Mix in self rising cornmeal and salt.
Fold in cream corn and/or if desired.
Prepare cast iron skillet by coating with non-stick spray, or oil covering the sides and bottom of skillet well. Pour cornbread mix into skillet.
