Ingredients You'll Need

2 packages yeast in 1 cup warm water (But I use less water and heat 1 cup milk)
4 cups flour
1 cup culture
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp butter or oleo (cool partly before using)


Mix and let rinse about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. (Set in warm place. Cover with towel.

Then knead (until smooth and satiny - 5 or 6 minutes)

Put in greased bowl, let rise again (about 30 minutes.

Shape into loaves. Put into greased pans. Let rise again then bake at 375 degrees about 30 minutes (2 loaves).
