Ingredients You'll Need

CornBread
1-1/2 cups yellow corn meal mix
1 tsp salt
1 egg 2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
ingredients
1 whole chicken
4 stalks celery
8 boiled eggs
2 cups each diced onions, green pepper
1 bundle green onions
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp ground sage
salt and pepper to taste


Directions

preheat oven to 400


in a mixing bowl combine cornmeal, salt, egg and milk


stir gently till combined


heat vegetable oil in a iron skillet


pour half of vegetable oil in corn mixture and stir gently until incorperated


pour batter into heated oil and place in oven


bake for 20-35- minutes


remove when browned and let cool


in a large stock pot add your chicken and cover it with water


add ribs of celery, 1 sliced onion and salt and pepper to taste


once chicken has boiled 35-40 minutes remove and let cool


retain broth


saute onions.pepper and green onion bottoms


de bone chicken


in a LARGE mixing container


break up cornbread


add in deboned chicken, sauteed vegetables,chopped green onion tops, salt pepper,poultry seasoning, and ground sage.


mix coarsely,


dice boiled eggs in mixture


strain broth and add to coarse mixture until it is a consistency of a thick cake batter


bake on 325 in oven for 1 hour
