Southern Fried Chicken

Why I Love This Recipe
This is a recipe from my family passed down for delicious fried chicken!!
Ingredients You'll Need
-4 Chicken Breasts (can be boneless/skinless for a healthier version, whichever you prefer)
-2 cups all purpose flour
-2 cups buttermilk
-1 Tsp Tabasco Sauce
-Cooking Oil (amount depends on size of pan)
-1/2 tsp. Paprika
-Salt and Pepper
Directions
-Combine Buttermilk and Tabasco in a covered dish, mix well and add chicken to marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight
-In a large non-stick skillet pour in enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan
-Heat oil on Med/Low heat and make sure oil is hot before adding chicken
-Combine flour, dash of salt and pepper to taste and paprika
-Dip chicken in flour mixture and coat well. You may have to pat more flour mixture to get it to stick good.
-Immediately transfer chicken to hot oil
-Cook about 15-20 mins on each side (longer if chicken is bone in) until juices run clear or meat therm. registers 190.
-Flour mixture will turn a deep brown and you may need to adjust the temp, but don't let the chicken sit in lukewarm oil or the coating will get soggy.
