Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe is a keeper because not only is it healthy, it is also very flavorful. The family loved it.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 lb. jumbo shrimp, shelled and deveined
1 lb. sea scallops
garlic salt
smoked paprika
olive oil to coat skillet
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 t. (or more to taste) garlic chipotle seasoning
fresh cilantro, snipped

Place shelled and deveined shirmp and scallops on a large board. Season to taste with garlic salt and smoked paprika. Let set for 10-15 minutes. Heat a large skillet to medium heat, coat skillet with olive oil. When hot, spread out shrimp and scallops in skillet seasoned side down. Sprinkle with garlic salt and smoked paprika to taste on unseasoned side. Cook until seafood is seared, turn and sear other side. Meanwhile add chipotle seasoning to orange juice. Turn heat to high and add orange juice to skillet. Bring to boil and cook until sauce is reduced and slightly thickened. Serve immediately.
