Ingredients You'll Need
8-oz cream cheese
2 cups of cheddar cheese, shredded
3 eggs ( use 2 and check for texture)
2/3 cup of salsa
2 cups of sour cream
1 small packet of taco seasoning mix
4-oz can chopped green chilies
Beat the cream cheese and cheddar cheese till fluffy.
Add 1 cup of the sour cream, seasonings and mix well.
Add the eggs one at a time and mix thoroughly. Oven set at 350º and it does bake in a 9" springform pan for about 35-40 minutes.
Cool the tart for about 10 minutes before adding the sour cream/salsa topping.
Bake for 5 minutes.
Cool slightly then "Chill" for 3-24 hours in the pan.
The proper pan will yield a perfect tart, that you can cut into small serving pieces.
Mine chilled for about 4 hours.
