Ingredients You'll Need
Six slices bacon
1/2 cup sliced green onion
2 T flour ( or corn starch for gluten free )
3 T sugar
3 T vinegar
1/2 t salt
1 cup water
2 cans sliced potatoes -14/15 ounce cans
Fry bacon until crisp; drain and crumble.
Using the bacon fat, saute green onions in skillet.
Blend in flour, sugar and salt.
Add vinegar and water; cook,
stirring, until thickened.
Add potatoes and bacon to skillet
Allowing to simmer for 1/2 hour adds to flavor.
