This is my son Alec's very favorite pasta dish. He can eat pounds in one sitting. So he can understand the impulsiveness of losing a significant other over a well made tetrazzini. You can freeze unbaked casserole up to one month ahead. Thaw casserole overnight in the refrigerator and let stand 30 minutes at room temperature before baking as directed.
Ingredients You'll Need
16 oz. package of thin spaghetti
1/2 cup chicken broth
4 cups of cooked chopped chicken
10.5 oz. can of cream of mushroom soup
10.5 oz. can of cream of chicken soup
10.5 oz. can of cream of celery soup
8 oz. container of sour cream
6 oz. jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
1 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 cups of shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. Return to pot and toss with chicken broth.
Stir together chicken and next 8 ingredients in a large bowl. Add spaghetti and toss well. Spoon chicken mixture into lightly greased baking dish(es). Sprinkle evenly with Cheddar cheese.
