Strawberries with Basil & Balsamic Vinegar

Why I Love This Recipe
FEATURING: Strawberries and basil.
Another really simple recipe. Great as is or on top of your favourite dessert (vanilla cake, brownies, ice cream, etc.) It is a great way to use up strawberries that are not the freshest anymore!
Ingredients You'll Need
2 quarts strawberries, sliced (approx. 2 Litres)
1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tsp sugar
1-2 tbsp fresh basil leaves, chiffonade (rolled across to look like cigars and thinly sliced)
Directions
Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl, toss and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Serve as is or on top of your favourite dessert!
