Why I Love This Recipe

What a refreshing smoothie!

Strawberries are Packed with vitamins, fiber, and particularly high levels of antioxidants, as well as vitamin C; while bananas are rich in potassium, vitamins, minerals and fiber creating a very nutritious snack.

Ingredients You'll Need

•1 frozen banana
•1 cup whole strawberries, stems removed
•¾ cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
•½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice


Equipment and supplies:
•Measuring cups
•Blender


Directions

1.In a blender, combine the banana, strawberries, yogurt, and orange juice.


2.Blend until smooth.


Variations and Suggestions:


Additional seasonal berries can be added to add a more flavorful smoothie. Vegetables such as spinach and kale can be added to provide additional vitamins.
