Strawberry Dessert
Why I Love This Recipe
This is also a favorite dessert at family picnics in the summer, it's very refreshing. It can also be made with different types of jell-o and different fruits, but the strawberry one is a winner with my family!
Ingredients You'll Need
Crust
2 C course crushed pretzels
1/2 C melted margarine.
3 T sugar
Middle
1 C sugar
8 oz. Cream cheese
9 oz. Cool whip
Topping
6 oz. box strawberry jello
2 C boiling water
2 10-oz. boxes of frozen strawberries and juice slightly thawed
Directions
Mix together and let stand on counter to congeal to the consistency of egg whites.
Pour this layer on top of the cream cheese and cool whip layer.
Chill till well set and serve.
