Ingredients You'll Need
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup cold butter, cubed
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup walnuts
1/4 cup sugar
6 Tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
Combine flour and salt in large. Cut in cold butter and cream cheese
until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Divide in half; shape into two balls, wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until easy to handle.
Grind nuts with sugar in a food processor; until finely chopped, then transfer to a small bowl. Stir honey, butter and cinnamon.
Grease to cookies sheets and pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
On a lightly floured surface, roll one portion of dough to 1/8-inch
thickness. Cut with a floured 2-inch round cookie cutter. Place a
teaspoonful of filling on the center of half of the circles; top
with remaining circles, making a sandwich. Press edges with a fork to seal.
Transfer to baking sheet.
Bake 16-18 minutes or until golden
