Super-Sweet and Cheap Sangria

Why I Love This Recipe
This is how my friend Kathleen makes Sangria, I have no idea how traditional or not it is but it's delicious and that's all that really matters right? Excellent with pretty much everything!
Ingredients You'll Need
$3 red wine (Trader Joe's has some good choices)
gingerale
lemon
lime
orange
ice
brandy, if desired
Directions
Put some ice in a pitcher, dump in your wine and gingerale, about 2:1 respectively.
Slice one slice of each piece of fruit for each glass then squeeze the rest into the pitcher, followed by the (washed!) fruit rinds.
For a little extra kick put in some brandy to taste. Stir and enjoy on your porch in the summer or with your favorite tv show on dvd (The O.C.? Gilmore Girls?) in winter.
