Sweet-and-Sour Appetizer Meatballs

Ingredients You'll Need
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup cooked rice
1/3 cup finely chopped onion (1 small)
1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 pound lean ground beef
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup ketchup
1 cup grape jelly
1/4 cup raisins
Directions
In a large bowl combine egg, cooked rice, onion, bread crumbs, brown sugar, 1 tsp. lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add ground beef; mix well.
Shape into forty 1-inch meatballs.
Arrange meatballs in a 15x10x1-inch baking pan.
Bake in a 350° oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until done (160°F).
Drain off fat.
Transfer meatballs to a large serving bowl.
Meanwhile, for sauce, in a medium saucepan combine 1 tsp. lemon juice, ketchup, jelly, and raisins.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour sauce over meatballs; toss gently to coat.
