Why I Love This Recipe
My mom used to make it all the time for us.. told us how it was special for "luck"..
Ingredients You'll Need
Jiffy pie crust mix
milk or egg
Mix 1/2 box pie crust mix with water according to directions on box.
roll pie crust about 9" wide and pie crust thickness.
cut into about 9"X6" pieces.. you can do whatever size you want.
In each piece, spread out brown sugar in center, leaving about 1" on ends.
Place a few slivers of butter on top of the brown sugar.
Fold over each side of the pie crust to cover the brown sugar, and fold over the end flaps.
Curve the roll into a horseshoe shape.
Put a little milk or egg on top crust.
Bake in 350 degree over approx. 20 minutes or until browned.
Let cool a little before eating as sugar gets extrememly hot!
