Why I Love This Recipe

These are tasty and flaky. They are great hot out of the oven and slathered with butter. I almost always make these when I make chicken soup. My three grown kids request them all the time.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 to 3 tbsp. fat
2/3 cup milk

Mix flour, baking powder and salt.

Cut in the fat until very fine.

Pour in milk stirring very quickly with a fork until mixed.

Turn out on a lightly floured board: knead lightly, roll to 3/4 inch thick.

Cut with floured biscuit cutter or glass.

Place in a greased or floured pan and bake in a 400 to 425 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
