THANKSGIVING CELERY

Why I Love This Recipe
This is a very different way to provide a veggie at a meal. There are not too many ways to cook celery as a side dish.
Ingredients You'll Need
4 cup diagonally sliced celery
1 cup water chestnuts, thinly sliced
1/4 cupupchopped pimento
1 can cream of chicken soup
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
1/2 to 1 cup Bread crumbs
Directions
Cook celery in boiling water 8 minutes.
Drain.
Mix with chestnuts, pimento, and soup.
Season with salt and pepper.
Pour into greased 2 quart casserole.
Top with crumbs and almonds.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
