Taco Lasagna Bake

Why I Love This Recipe
This is another one of those filling, homey concoctions like mom used to make. Different from your traditional lasagna, it is the tex-mex equivalent that is just as hearty and tasty and will leave everyone wanting seconds.
Ingredients You'll Need
6 Flour Soft Tortillas
1 1/2 Lbs. Ground Beef
Taco Seasoning Packet
1/2 Cup Favorite Salsa
1 Cup Shredded Colby Jack Cheese
1 Pint Heavy Cream
4 Tbsp. Butter
2 Cups Shredded Colby Jack Cheese
In a small saucepan melt butter, add heavy cream and bring to a low boil and slowly add shredded cheese until melted.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
In a baking dish, add a layer of tortillas ( you may need to cut one in half to fit properly) Top with ground beef mixture. Layer with 1/2 Cup- 1 Cup of salsa and add 1/3 Cup of cheese sauce.
Repeat with each layer. Add final layer of tortillas and top with remaining cheese sauce and shredded cheese.
Bake for about 20 mins. or until bubbly and slightly browned.
