Why I Love This Recipe


Ingredients You'll Need

3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
2 1/4 cups old-fashioned oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 package English toffee bits or almond brickle chip, 7 1/2 ounces


Directions

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stif in toffee bits.


Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 1 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks. Yield: 4 dozen
