Serves 2-4 | Prep Time 5 mins | Cook Time 6 minsWhy I Love This Recipe
Asian-inspired healthy dinner option that can be thrown into the weekly rotation, yet still be a crowd pleaser at a dinner party!
Ingredients You'll Need
1 tbsp olive coconut oil
romaine or iceberg lettuce cups
1 lb ground turkey
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp grated ginger
2 tbsp liquid aminos (a healthier replacement for soy sauce)
2 tbsp chili garlic sauce
1/2 cup of mushrooms
1/2 bunch green onion, diced
sesame seeds to garnish
Directions
Add oil onto a nonstick pan and bring heat to medium. Add ground turkey, ginger, and garlic to the pan and cook for about 6 minutes, or until turkey has browned
Once fully cooked, transfer to serving bowl and add in chili garlic sauce, liquid aminos, and green onion and mix together. Garnish with sesame seeds
Scoop turkey into lettuce cups and enjoy!
Pairs Well With
steamed/grilled veggies or (surprisingly) guacamole
