Why I Love This Recipe
Got this recipe from an Oxygen magazine about a year ago. Haven't tried it yet, but as soon as I'm done dieting will definitely give it a try!
Ingredients You'll Need
1 lb lean ground turkey
2 egg whites
½ cup whole wheat bread crumbs
¼ cup nonfat milk
½ cup diced onion
½ cup shredded carrots
2 tsp Italian seasoning, divided
½ tsp cinnamon
Salt and pepper to taste
4 tbsp water
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375 F
2. In a bowl, mix together turkey, eggs whites, bread crumbs, milk, onion, carrots, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, cinnamon, salt and pepper. Press into a loaf pan.
3. Whisk together tomato paste, water, and remaining teasoon Italian seasoning. Spoon on top of meatloaf.
4. Bake for 50 minutes.
