Valentine Sugar Cookies

Ingredients You'll Need
3/4 c shortening
1 c sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Directions
Cream shortening; add sugar, beat til fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla mix well. Combine dry ingredients; add to creamy mixture. Divide dough in half; wrap in wax paper and chill for one hour. Roll half of dough to 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface and cut dough with a heart shaped cutter. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets; bake at 350F for 12 minutes approx. Cool and frost with decorator frosting. Makes 3 doz.
