Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe was generally successful although I did struggle a little bit to properly roll the veal cutlets into the tight spirals. The veal was mild in flavor so the ham and swiss cheese, along with the breading and frying really gave a lot of body to the dish.


Ingredients You'll Need

Veal Cutlets, 4 oz
Salt and white pepper
Parsley, chopped
Ham Slices, 1 oz
Swiss cheese, 1 oz
Flour (we used about 2 cups)
Bread crumbs (about 2 cups)
Egg wash


Directions

Season the cutlets with salt and white pepper on both sides,
Place ham slice and swiss cheese slice on top of each cutlet.
Roll the cutlets tightly and secure with a toothpick.
Use the standard breading procedure to bread the veal cutlet "rolls"
Deep fry for about 8 minutes until crispy and golden.
Dry and salt.
