Ingredients You'll Need
1 1/2 lbs veal, cut into thin strips
6 tbsp butter
4 shallots or 6 green onions chopped
1/4 tsp thyme
1/4 cup dry white wine
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 can or jar mushroom caps
1 1/2 cups dairy sour cream
Salt
Pepper
1/4 tsp paprika
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Cooked fluffy rice or
Buttered broad noodles or
Green noodles
Directions
Heat 4 tbsp butter and sauté shallots until soft
Add remaining butter and veal strips, cook 4 minutes turning frequently
Add thyme, wine, Worcestershire sauce and mushrooms
Simmer covered for 2 minutes
Add salt and pepper to taste
Stir in sour cream, one spoonful at a time, stirring to blend
Heat through, sprinkle with paprika and parsley and serve hot over rice or noodles
