Why I Love This Recipe

As I have been learning more about vegetarian meals and gluten-free eating (family member allergies), I was introduced to Yves ground round products and I have become inspired to create more nutritional, healthier and flavour packed meals. This was one of my first recipes and I was amazed. I truly hope that you enjoy it as much as we did.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 packages of Mexican ground round.
1 cup of shredded lettuce
1 cup of shredded cheese
1 tomato
1 cup of sour cream
1 cup of taco or salsa sauce
Prepare whatever vegetable toppings you like on your regular tacos.


In a frying pan heat the Mexican ground round. Meanwhile, chop the lettuce and tomato and add them to separate bowls. Use shredded cheese of choice or shred some from a brick of cheese you have available. Enjoy with whatever your favourite toppings are!!

Once Mexican Ground Round is throughly heated, scoop a large spoonful into your choice of taco shells, top with whatever you enjoy!
