Why I Love This Recipe

growing up in Watsonville, california a beautiful agriculture town about 15 mins south of Santa Cruz, towards monterey, carmel areas. Home of the strawberry and Martinelli's Apple cider being a teenager out there, I realized quickly Wastonville, has the street tacos I've ever had. There was a market i went to often enough to try to replicate the taste of these tacos. Orange brings out he flavor in meats so you get the sweet flavor of the meat you are using...then the heat from your favorite salsa and the clean crunch from the white won't want anther taco.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 1/2 lbs Carne Asada
1 Orange juice/ 1 Orange sliced
1/2 white onion sliced
1 Tbs. Paprika
salt to taste
1 Tb. Oil


Marinade the meat for a few hours or over night

then grill or broil the meat 2 mins on each side

once done chop it up

serve with steamed corn tortillas, finely chopped onion and freshly minced cilantro

with a medium hot homemade salsa
