Whole Wheat Bread

Why I Love This Recipe
Ingredients You'll Need
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
3 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 tablespoons white sugar (use real sugar, not splenda. The yeast needs this for food)
1 1/2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk powder
1/4 c wheat gluten
1 1/2 tablespoons margarine
1 1/4 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
Directions
Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl with a whisk
Melt margarine (I used smart start) in microwave for 20 seconds
Run tap water until hot and then measure out 1 1/4c
Add margarine to water
Add margarine/water mixture to dry ingredients with a wooden spoon
Dump out onto floured surface and knead 100 times (this isn't as bad as it sounds. Just takes a few minutes)
Pour a little oil in the bowl, put the dough in and turn to cover entire surface with oil
Cover with plastic wrap and put in warm, draft-free place (I use my oven, after it's been pre-heated at 170 degrees)
Rise till doubled (takes at least an hour)
Dump out onto floured surface and knead 35 times
Form into a loaf and place in loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray.
Spray top with cooking spray and let rise till dough rises well above the pan (about an hour)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, then cook 33 minutes
