Wonderful Crockpot Lasagna

Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe was given to me by a friend, and I improvised on it until I thought it was perfect. I hope everyone enjoys it. I will never bake lasagna again. This is just that good.


Ingredients You'll Need

1 1/2 lbs. lean hamburger
1/4 tsp. organo
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. basil
mozarella cheese (2 lbs.)
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 bulbs garlic chopped or 1 1/2 tsp. chopped bottled garlic
parmasean cheese
2 jars Prego Spaghetti Sauce
(optional canned or fresh mushrooms)
(1/2 cup chopped green pepper)
cottage cheese
1 box lasagna no cook noodles


Directions

Spray the crockpot well


Brown the hamburger with all the spices, onion and garlic


Pour 1/2 cup of Prego in bottom of crockpot and spread around


break some noodles in half and layer to cover sauce


add a layer of hamburger mixture


4 tsp. cottage cheese (in 4 dollops on separate parts of meat)


cover this with mozarella cheese


sprinkle parmasean cheese on top


Repeat until you have 3-4 layers and end with mozarella cheese on top


After cooking on low for 4 hr. let sit 5 minutes before cutting. Remove with spatula.
