THIS HAS BEEN ANOTHER RECIPE PASSED DOWN AMONGST A SPECIAL FRIEND & HER FAMILY.
ST. JOSEPH'S DAY IS MARCH 19TH EACH YEAR... WE CELEBRATE IN HONOR OF MY LITTLEST GUY JOSEPH!
Ingredients You'll Need
** CREAM PUFFS ** (ST. JOSEPH DAY RECIPE)
1 CUP HOT WATER
1/2 CUP BUTTER
1 TBLSPN SUGAR
1/2 TSP SALT
1 CUP FLOUR
4 EGGS
1 TSP. GRATED ORANGE PEEL
1 TSP. GRATED LEMON PEEL
FOR FILLING (NON TRADITIONAL ST. JOSEPH'S! I DO NOT LIKE RICOTTA SO I MAKE A PUDDING FILLING)
1 BOX JELLO INSTANT (VANILLA, CHOCOLATE)
1 CUP MILK
BEAT W FORK
REFRIGERATE COVERED 1 HR
ADD SM. BOX OF HEAVY CREAM
1 TBLPSN SUGAR
WHIP TOGETHER...
REFRIGERATE UNTIL READY TO SERVE
YUM! ENJOY!
PERSONALLY, I MAKE 1 BOWL OF BANANA & 1 BOWL OF CHOCOLATE. (DON'T MIX TOGETHER - KEEP SEPERATE)
I FILL 1 SMALL TSP. OF EACH... IT IS SOOO GOOD!!

Directions
PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 450*
I USE A SILPAT FRO MY BAKING SHEET PAN OR LIGHTLY GREASE
IN MEDIUM SAUCEPAN - ADD ~~ WATER, BUTTER, SUGAR, SALT
LET COME TO A BOIL
ADD FLOUR - BEAT WITH WOODEN SPOON. (ONLY USE WOODEN SPOON)
IT WILL COME TOGETHER TO FORM A BALL
REMOVE FROM HEAT
ADD 1 EGG AT A TIME... STIRRING WITH WOODEN SPOON.
ADD ORANGE & LEMON PEEL & MIX WELL
DROP BY TEASPOONS
** 450 FOR 15 MINUTES
** DROP TO 350 FOR 15 MIN
CREAM PUFF WILL BE HIGH, & DRY INSIDE
ONCE ROOM TEMP & READY TO SERVE - CUT SLIT IN SIDE & ADD CREAM
OPTIONAL -
I MELT SOME CHOCOLATE & DRIZZLE ON TOP OF CREAMPUFFS & SOME POWEDERED SUGAR
LOOKS & TASTES BETTER THAN THE BAKERY! :)
