Ingredients You'll Need
200g spaghetti
1 lemon (zested and juiced)
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp red chili flakes
2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
Salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
50g grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add garlic and red chili flakes, sauté until fragrant (about 2 minutes).
Add the lemon zest and juice to the skillet. Stir well.
Toss in the cooked spaghetti. Mix until evenly coated.
Add reserved pasta water, one tablespoon at a time, to adjust the consistency of the sauce.
Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Stir in freshly chopped parsley and mix well.
Remove from heat and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
