Ingredients You'll Need
500g (1lb 2oz) cherries, washed
125g (4 1/2oz) sugar
2 1/4 cups brandy, approximately
pick cherries with fork and layer with sugar in a sterilised jar. pour brandy over cherry mixture, leaving a little space at top of jar. shake jar well, and shake each day for 7 days. store in a cool place for 6 months.
