How to make a quick and easy hand pies

Ingredients You'll Need

1 box pie crust
1 tbsp pie filling
1 tsp cinnamon
2 1/2 c powdered sugar
1/4 c milk
1 egg white, beaten


1. preheat oven to 425 degrees, line baking sheets with parchment paper

2. roll out pie crust until smooth and even cut circles of dough

3. put 1 tbsp of pie filling in the middle of the pies and brush edges with of the circle with water then fold them and pinch edges with fork poke lines in them to prevent bursting

4. beat egg white in a small bowl until frothy, brush over tops of pie

5. bake on parchment paper lined baking sheet for 15 mins

6. while pies are baking whisk together the powered sugar and milk until smooth

7. remove cooked pies from baking sheet and drop into glaze, coating completely

8. return to parchment paper and allow to set for about 5 mins
