Why I Love This Recipe

this recipe is adapted from one of wolfgang pucks,but i put my own twist on it and it works fantastic on just about any meat,poultry,fish or veg


Ingredients You'll Need

3/4 cup soy sauce (preferably tamari )
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup sake
1/4 cup mirin
3 tbls rice vinegar
2 cups beef stock (not shitty broth either)
2 tsp fresh ginger (minced fine)
2 tsp fresh garlic (minced fine)
1/4 cup pineapple juice
2 tbls honey
2 green onions (sliced)
2 tbls cornstarch
2 tbls water


Directions

combine all ingredients except cornstarch and water and bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer,let it simmer about 25 min. and reduce 1/3. combine cold water and cornstarch to make a slurry,whisk slurry into sauce until thickened to desired consistency.
