Why I Love This Recipe

this is a really good dessert for everyone because everyone loves cookies its a classic but for after dinner its a really good little sweet or treat.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 stick butter- soften
1/2 cup brown sugar- packed
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup of oats
1 cup chocolate chips


1. pre heat oven to 350 and cover baking sheets in foil
2. large mixing bowl, beat together butter and sugars until cream
3. add egg and vanilla and beat well
4. in separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda cinnamon and salt
5. gradually add dry ingredients to creamy mixture by beating together
6. add oats and mix well with a rubber spatula
7. add chocolate chips and fold
8. drop rounded tablespoon fulls onto baking sheets
9. bake 8-10 min or until light-golden; cool 1 min on baking sheet
