Why I Love This Recipe
Spanish pork loin with carmelized milk
This is a work in progress. I am exploring cooking with milk and meat. I would like to try to prevent the milk from separating while cooking.
The first time I tried this the flavor was good but then that might just have been the bacon.
Ingredients You'll Need
2 pork chops (1/2-3/4")
ginger
cayenne
salt & pepper
2 slices bacon
1/2 tsp sage
4 pods cardamon ground
2 small bay leaf
1 cup whole milk
1 Tbsp sugar
3/4 lb brussel sprouts cut in half
Directions
season pork chops with ginger cayenne and s&p the brown in a skillet
remove to a oven proof dish
fry the bacon
add to the baking dish along with 1 Tbsp of the fat
add milk
sage
bay leaf
sugar
brussel sprouts
bake covered 350 degrees
