Ingredients You'll Need
1 17 oz can pitted dark sweet cherries, undrained
1 3 oz package cherry flavored jello
1 c boiling water
1 c ginger ale
1 3 oz package flavored cherry jello
1 c boiling water
1 8 oz cream cheese, softened
lettuce
Directions
Drain cherries, reserving 3/4 cup liquid. Dissolve jello in water; add ginger ale. Chill until thickened but not set; fold in cherries. Pour into lightly oiled 1 1/2 quart mold; chill until almost set.
Dissolve jello in water; add reserved liquid. Gradually add gelatin mixture to cream cheese, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. Pour over molded layer; chill until firm. Unmold onto lettuce-lined serving plate.
