Why I Love This Recipe

I got this from a friend long time ago and its been a hit with everyone .. hope you like it... its fun.. easy and you can freeze it and take it out for company any time .. its a bread ..yet a desert...just spread some cream cheese or jam on it..or eat it plain.. for snack or company no matter how you want it .. its a great treat...

Ingredients You'll Need

3 cups of sugar
3-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp clove (ground)
1 tsp nutmeg (ground)
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda
mix and add to dry ingredients
4 eggs
1/2 cup wesson oil
2/3 cups water
1 LB PUMPKIN (CAN) o r fresh if you like
1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts)
1 cup white raisens..(i use either one)
MIX IN LARGE BOWL all ingrediants


use 4- 1 lb coffee cans.. ( or baking loaf pans)

by putting them in coffee cans you can store and freeze them in the cans till ready to eat

grease and flour coffee cans

fill only half way

then bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees

check for doneness

leave in covered cans overnight in refridgerator
